Day 238: Aussie Coins

Word of warning: When you visit Australia your pockets will be heavy from carrying all the damn coins they have.

Back home we have:

1. Penny
2. Nickle
3. Dime
4. Quarter
   We also have the 50 cent coin and the dollar coin but it's rarely seen or used

In Australia:

1. 5 cent piece
2. 10 cent piece
3. 20 cent piece
4. 50 cent piece
5. Dollar gold coin
6. 2 Dollar gold coin
   Aussies don't have pennies. They either round up or down.

You'll end up with 20 coins in your pocket on a regular day out, it's crazy lol.

Anyway -- we figure we tell you this so you know to bring a nice big coin purse when you visit.
